" Being part of the community of bright active students across the world with the aim to have an international social impact on society is a dream that came true. In many cases, these days, the environment and natural resources are being neglected, which has severe repercussions such as dramatic climate change and transformations of the landscape. To achieve my goal of living a balanced sustainable life, I will therefore acquire new skills and advance my leadership abilities thanks to the Millennium Fellowship Program. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Ocean Conservation Through Art

The fact that I have started to live near the ocean coast and be surrounded by the water daily with the observation of rapid climate change progress, made me realize how essential it is to act urgently. Thus, our project is related to reshapes of the landscape resulting from climate change and start acting against water pollution, notably plastic pollution in the oceans. That is why our project attempts to arouse people’s awareness of environmental protection, especially through the creativity and collaboration efforts of the younger generation. Concretely, the project focuses on SDG numbers 6, 13, and 14 with the issues related to climate change, underwater, marine conservation and the quality of the water.
