" The incredible work of our Millennium Fellows ignites a strong hope within me for the future. What we do matters, and I believe how we do it matters just as much, if not more. I'm constantly inspired by the vigor, resilience, and passion demonstrated in each project and hope to bring my own goals to life with the same intensity of this wonderful cohort. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Addressing AAHNPI Health Disparities through Education

The three main parts of my approach are multilingual informational pamphlets, increasing access to basic medical assessments, and mentoring the youth on these issues. I believe that sharing knowledge about health issues, either in person or virtually (due to COVID-19), can improve the ways our community addresses them. I also hope to organize more events / free clinics in which anyone can get a basic workup (vitals, medicine review, etc.) to be up to date and aware of their medical profile. Lastly, I also aim to educate the youth as they are the most effective means in long-term impact on these issues.
