Millennium Fellowship Project: MALARIA AMBASSADOR'S

Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by the bite of an infected female anophele mosquito, according to the report of the World Health Organization in 2019, this disease leads to the death of a child every 75 seconds. Nigeria and sub-saharan Africa at large face a big threat as a result of malaria, Nigeria accounts for about 31.9 percent of global malaria deaths; approximately 200,000 deaths in 2021.
My project MALARIA AMBASSADOR'S is a malaria intervention project geared towards enhancing the sensitization of malaria and also its preventive approaches in my community Taraba state and eventually across Nigeria. Focusing mainly on the younger children and pregnant women who are at greater risk of this disease.
To do that i plan on having a group of volunteers to help reach that goal and Hopefully partnering with like-minded organizations to better achieve this goal. By the end of the Fellowship in November, my target is to reach out to 600+ individuals through outreaches, school visitation etc, and also continue with the project after the Fellowship program is over by God's grace
