United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: KENYA TUNAVYOITAKA

The project aims at to reach out to young boys and girls between the ages of 9 years to 15 years.This is in order to support them psychologically by mentoring them on menstrual health,girl child empowerment and seeking opportunities for growth.

About the Millennium Fellow

Cecilia Otieno is young, energetic and enthusiastic student Engineer, pursuing bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. For as long as I can recall Cecilia has always been passionate about leadership,policy leadership,community development and women empowerment. Cecilia is a strong believer in the power of women. That women carry the weight of the world on their shoulders and therefore for a prosperous global we should push for gender parity and rights of women and children. Besides these Cecilia believe in sustainable engineering solutions in alignment with the UN's SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
