" I believe in the notion that " you become, what your environment is".By improving the hygiene standards of our communities we will be able to solve other problems that are colletaral for example reducing outbreak of disease.
Being a Millennium Fellow will equip me with knowledge and skills that will enhance my perspective and therefore help me in creating a sustainable impact to the community in line with the United Nations SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Clean Earth

CLEAN EARTH, is aimed at creating awareness on the ned for a clean environment as well as climate action. The project's aim was also to dimistify false myths concerning climate change and climate action.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rosemary Njeri Gathoni is a young, open-minded lady and a determined student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics in The Technical University of Kenya . She was born in the countrysides of Kenya in Nyeri County, and later moved to Nairobi city.
Rosemary is passionate about the environment and sustainability of communities and cities.
Growing up in the countryside exposed her to mother-nature's best. A clean, green environment, which was contrary to the conditions in the city.This ignited her zeal to champion for greener and cleaner cities.Throughout her past and present years she has actively particiapated and organized cleanups and awareness campaigns.
