Millennium Fellowship Project: Giving A Voice To The Girl Child

The project aims at empowering girls to be able to speak up for themselves in matters concerning their lives.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sheillar Kwamboka Nyong'a is a determined and self driven girl who is a student at the Technical University of Kenya pursuing counseling psychology. All through her life she has seen how the male in her society have the authority to make decisions even for the females, this has driven her to want to give a voice to the girl child in her community. She has a passion to help the girls to be able to stand for their rights and to fight for what they believe in.
