Millennium Fellowship Project: NCTSA Olk Subcounty Schools Mentorship programme
NCTSA Olk Subcounty schools Mentorship programme project mainly focuses on
quality education under SDG 4, in primary and secondary institutions within Ol Kalou
Constituency.It comprises of both youth leaders and teenage mentors who visits
schools to advice students on matters related to academic progress-importance of
education,cause and effects of truancy.Secondly, raises awareness on the cause of
Drugs abuse among students and possible panacea to curb this and Mental health
among students. The project will help in ensuring inclusive and equitable quality
education and promote life long learning opportunities for all.
About the Millennium Fellow
Stephen Macharia is a young visionary and committed person.He was born and raised in Nyandarua County ,Kenya and resides in Nairobi.He is currently studying at The Technical University of Kenya pursuing Bachelor of Science ( Biochemistry).He is a true believer of youth empowerment and leadership where he has actively participated in Youth and student organizations and served as their leaders at various capacities since lower primary School.He has always understood that the future is designed in the present and therefore preparation for the future should be made in the present.He believes that youth plays a major role in societal development and hence empowerment of the young generation will create a pool of good leaders who will ensure the community development in all aspects , politically,socially and economically.
