Millennium Fellowship Project: Clear Eye Movement
I am part of a group working on this project, and our goal is to launch a concert on campus with climate change prevention as the theme. We want to provide students with the very serious information affecting our world today and bring awareness about the various issues in need of attention. Right now, our first concert is set to take place November 6, and in order to prepare for this event we have been advertising it all over campus. This is being done through flyers, social media, presentations, and peer to peer interactions. Since our first concert will be themed with sustainable development goal 13, climate action, we hope this event will be successful enough to where we could ideally host one every month.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ashley Gastineau is fire encompassed in a person, burning her own path to the future she wants to see, she is a borne leader. She sees the strengths in everyone and knows when everyone bands together this strength outshines any weakness. Ashley is disgusted with the systems of oppression and exploitation required for daily life today and seeks to ignite collaboration among students and community members to think outside the box and collaborate for a future of endless possibilities which work for everyone and take advantage of none.
