Millennium Fellowship Project: Clear Eye Movement
I am part of a group working on this project, and our goal is to launch a concert on campus with climate change prevention as the theme. We want to provide students with the very serious information affecting our world today and bring awareness about the various issues in need of attention. Right now, our first concert is set to take place November 6, and in order to prepare for this event we have been advertising it all over campus. This is being done through flyers, social media, presentations, and peer to peer interactions. Since our first concert will be themed with sustainable development goal 13, climate action, we hope this event will be successful enough to where we could ideally host one every month.
About the Millennium Fellow
Michelle Arias is an ambitious first generation student studying Managerial Economics at the University of California, Davis. Being the child of immigrant parents, she was given more opportunities than her parents ever had growing up. As a result, she hopes to find ways to help people in developing countries have the same educational opportunities she has had. She loves to meet new people and is excited to work alongside others who are as passionate as she is in working to make the world a better place.
