Millennium Fellowship Project: UCL PortiHome Campaign

A project/campaign to make university nightlife safter for students who are women or marginalsied genders at UCL.

About the Millennium Fellow

Abigail Hunt is currently at University College London reading for a BSc (Hons) in Politics & International Relations; at UCL Abigail is a Our Streets Now Higher Education Ambassador.

Abigail is passionate about ending Violence Against Women And Girls (VAWAG) and through her work as a youth representative on behalf of The National Council of Young Women and the National Alliance of Women’s Organisations (NAWO) she has gained advocacy and campaign experience as well as an increased understanding of the need for concrete support for women and marginalised genders facing gendered violence and harassment in the UK and globally.


Abigail has also been a delegate on behalf of UN Women UK at the Commission on the Status of Women 66 and is enthusiastic about community driven social justice and how collective projects and dialogue can be an effective tool for mobalisation in the area of gender equality (SDG 5) and the wider UN SDG goals.
