United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project STRIDE

The Project is a sensitization program for senior secondary school students of various schools in Sokoto state on Career Choices, technology, mental health and hygiene.

About the Millennium Fellow

Asmau Balarabe Alti is an undergraduate student of Pharmacy at Usmanu Dan Fodio University Sokoto, an indigene of Tambuwal Local government. She was born and brought up in Kaduna state, Nigeria. Asmau has always been passionate about humanity and in her quest to serve humanity she came to learn about the SDGs and has since then been an active advocate for them.
Throughout her highschool years and currently in her University years, she has successfully organized and participated in various Philanthropic projects which she plans to continue in the future. Asmau is a young, bright serial and social entrepreneur and aspires to use her career to contribute to the UN SDGs and make the world a better place.
