" " purpose has always been what my heart whispers, turning the steering wheel to the right and meaningful direction is what my being desires. The world needs change, change that will bridge the moral and emotional gaps that hinder progress. I believe being a Millennium Fellow will provide the platform for me to learn and give out the substance I have to make my society a better place". "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Halt to Save
Halt to save is a project that addresses all forms of abuse especially sexual abuse. A society free from sexual harassment will contribute to the mental stability of citizens which in turn will bring about peace, development and progress. It calls on people to literally stop and intervene when they come across an individual being abused even when it is the littlest form of it, they ought to say something when they see something. Individuals in the society also have to take time to listen to victims and to also support and encouragement them. The general population have to know being the abuser is never an option.
The nugget here is that we should "HALT TO SAVE" the abused from the abuser.
