" The zeal to impact my society positively fuels my dedication to be a Millennium Fellow. Being an active volunteer, I see this platform as the panacea to reaching out to many individuals to a wider extent and making their lives better. My society needs adequate enlightment on world development issues, health issues and issues that generally affect the human existence and this is the perfect means to disseminate this information. The SDGs also require more implementation in my society, therefore I will be glad to be a convener of the dictates of the SDGs and UNAI principles to the members of my society; especially my Fellow students. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Butterfly Family

The project is basically reaching out to as many people in different communities as humanly possible through physical outreaches, social media platforms, etc on what autoimmune diseases are, especially lupus. Not only enlightening them on what they are, but the causes , effects and ways of managing these effects. Funds would also be provided to support patients who are less privileged and cannot afford the outrageous bills and treatments.
