United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Disrupting Antimicrobial Resistance Project

The Disrupting Antimicrobial Resistance project is an antimicrobial resistance awareness and education project. It centers on SDG 3 which is Good Health and Wellbeing. We organized an online webinar, we also had physical awareness campaigns where we went to a secondary school and a church to educate people on the dangers of AMR.

About the Millennium Fellow

Fatade Mariam Folashade is young, vibrant, hardworking third year pharmacy student of the university of Ilorin. She was born in Nigeria, resides in Lagos and is currently studying in Ilorin, Kwara state. She has been a passionate advocate of education, health, fitness and mental health. This passion has driven her to participate in health outreach, take up leadership positions, provide a means to assist students via tutorials, organize awareness campaign on healthy living.
Mariam is committed to personal and global growth and development, ever a positive change maker.
Mariam aspires to be in a professional field where she can improve and continue these Advocacies further, provide her own contributions in the development of the United Nation's sustainable goals.
