Millennium Fellowship Project: Theracure Health Initiative

My project is on health education which entails creating awareness on personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, decreasing malaria epidemic and water related diseases, also most importantly inculcating the habit of visiting the primary health care centre by residents in the community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Oderinde Abdullahi is a third year medical student in the University of Ilorin, Kwara, Nigeria. He is an advocate for health equity in Nigeria and has genuine interest about the well being of his community. He has volunteered with few organizations in order to enlighten people on the importance of hygiene and visiting the primary health centres in their locality. Oderinde Abdullahi plans to pursue a career in academic cardiothoracic surgery and use the skills gained to make positive impacts on the society.
