About the Millennium Fellow

Afolayan Opeyemi is a young, and vibrant student of the university of ilorn, trying to earn his stripes as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria where he lived for 3 years till his parents move to the capital city in search of greener pastures. Opeyemi hasn't always been the bigest advocate for social change that he is now, but certain experinces during his life has shaped him to want to do better and to be better. Opeyemi has actively been involved in movements that help to feed the needy and sensitize the general public about the importance of education for the young ones, He aspires to carry on this social responsiblities even after graduaction to help see that a large fraction of the young ones in his communities are enrollloed in one school or the other.
