Millennium Fellowship Project: Universal Health Awareness Initiative

The Universal Health Awareness Initiative (UHAI) is a social impact group project aimed towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 3 : Good Health and Well-being. Our social impact is targeted at reducing the risk factors associated with Non-Communicable Diseases in the Nigerian populace. Our mission states in simple terms: “Building a Healthy Community, One individual at a time".

About the Millennium Fellow

Oreoluwa Grace Adeniyi is a medical student of the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She has keen interest in research and public health. She is passionate about health literacy in underserved communities. Over the years, she has successfully organized health outreaches and campaigns. She is currently serving in her Medical Students’ Association as a firm advocate of Child Health and Nutrition, and Cancer Awareness. She hopes to ensure that every community is educated on wholesome health practices and provided with basic healthcare facilities in order to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
