" Team work, empathy and a vision hell-bent on making a positive difference in the community.
Being a member of the Millennium Fellowship will corroborate these, effectively. The experience I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will make my impact on schools and communities more effective. Leveraging on the skills gained from a Fellow will help my goal as an ardent community development worker. I'm more than happy to work with other people of like-minds who live to see a changed world and see my actions get driven home--a world class impressive result. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Universal Health Awareness Initiative
Concentrating on lowering the risk factors is an effective method to manage NCDs. The findings of a recent assessment on risk factor awareness and knowledge of NCD prevention underscored the necessity of health education and intervention. The Universal Health Awareness Initiative (UHAI) aims to lower the death rate of NCDs by educating people regularly in rural areas and on social media.
