" By becoming a Millennium Fellow I will be able to create an impact, learn new things and meet more enthusiasts who are as passionate as me. I will also be able to develop my teambuilding skills and hopefully, make some friends with whom I can continue to do activities that will help us work towards our selected SDG in the future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Zilo

"Zilo" is a project reuniting scarce resources to maximise awareness on water resources and their value. Water being an essential element and Mauritius being surrounded by water, the millennium fellows of the University of Mauritius will be organising simple activities to promote the SDG 14 such as cleanups of water bodies, reducing marine pollution, raising awareness on the importance of mangroves, among others.
