" There is a broad amount of resources that are not utilized that can be useful to inform, educate and support groups in need. The communities without access to creative solutions are why I want to participate in the Millennium Fellowship. The terms underprivileged and misrepresented should be combated through direct community engagement. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Hi, my name LaToya and I am finishing my BA in Anthropology at the University of Michigan. I am 28, and I am originally from Detroit, Mi. I did not have the best upbringing, but that has made me want meaningful successes that will help the greater good. I have an initiative that I want to introduce to the Detroit community in hopes of improving the quality of life in impoverished communities. I want to help and support communities in America and abroad.
