Millennium Fellowship Project: Less of Excess Weight/End Bullying

Less of Excess Weight/End Bullying Is a Health Project brought about by two Millennium Fellows Class of 2022; Duke Okechukwu and Obilor Anderson from the University of Calabar Cohort Campus. It is centered around educating the youths and elderly on Weight gain, Overweight, Underweight, and even obesity as well as the mental health part of it.

This was created in fulfillment of the SDG 3 'Good Health and Wellbeing with the hopes of ending bullying and stigmatization in weight gained or overweight individuals and also offering better physical and Mental practices to best manage such situations.

About the Millennium Fellow

Okechukwu Duke Uchenna is a young and competitive 300L Student of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Calabar, CrossRiver State, Nigeria. He hails from Isiala Ngwa North LGA of Abia State. He is a core believer in Hard Work, Determination, Grace, and Consistency.

As someone passionate about the SDGs especially SDG 3 this has made him become a volunteer and an ambassador for various organizations including Leap Africa, Ingressive For Good, Cowrywise, and others where he preaches and does the words of Health, Health tech, Social values, Humanity, SDGs amongst others.

Duke’s interest also cuts across tech, AI, Product design, Data analysis and he is enthusiastic about incorporating digital technology into health to further push the SDG 3 goal.

He aspires to become a renowned Medical Doctor who through his diverse experiences in various fields be a pioneer of change in his community, State, Nigeria, and beyond.
