Millennium Fellowship Project: The Negative Effects of Recreational Drug Abuse
This project, the Negative Effects of Recreational Drug Abuse (aka The Substance Abuse Awareness Program) is aimed at educating young people, especially secondary school students, on the reasons why they should stay away from recreational drugs, and how they can avoid falling victim to substance use/abuse.
This project also teaches young people how they can identify friends/relatives who use recreational drugs and the much they can do to help them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Attama Christian Chukwudi is a brilliant, young and passion driven pharmacy student of University of Nigeria Nsukka. He was born and currently lives in Nigeria. He has shown commitment to the fight against substance abuse through various school and community outreaches.
He intends using his profession as major tool to give proper orientation to the public on the health hazards associated with improper use of substances (especially drugs) thereby providing his own contribution to the development of the United Nation "Sustainable goals."
