" My social impact work is driven by leadership and creative thinking. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship class of 2022 is an opportunity to further exercise my skills and to align my works with the SDGs and UNAI principles "
Millennium Fellowship Project: HYGIENEPLUS initiative
My project "HYGIENEPLUS initiative" is targeted at reaching out to Expectant and Nursing mothers, in Ukehe town of Igbo Etiti local government area, Enugu state. Nursing and Expectant mothers are my pick for target audience because kids below 5years of age are most susceptible to Cholera. They can only be helped by their parents because they know little or nothing about their health.Research indicates that Cholera is the number two killer of infant below five. Hopefully by the end of November 2022, this project would help decrease the incidence of cholera infection by 20% thereby decreasing infant mortality in my community. Also, this project would decrease Antibiotics and other substances abused in the course of treating cholera disease.
