" Being a Millennium Fellow is a unique oppourtunity to create value in my community. It gives me the oppourtunity to learn, connect with peers and innovate. This year, I'd be applying my skills to create a solution that address a real need. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Happy Mind Initiative
Happy Mind Initiative is a social project addressing mental health of young people in our local community. With a focus on depression, the project aims to create meaningful conversations around this subject and encourage action. The project is in line with the UN SDG 3 goal, to provide good health and well-being. We aim to create an access to mental health support to 100 young people in our locality through community events and information.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ikechukwu loves to be called Ikénnà. He loves design and creative expressions. He's also passionate about healthcare, life sciences and technology and how these can transform communities. He hopes to someday merge art and science into a singular entity someday. This year, Ikechukwu will be addressing a public health issue (mental health) faced under-represented groups in his community.
