" I am very passionate about the empowerment of the girl child with basic technological skills which can help improve very sector of the economy, directly leading to economic development . I believe that there is so much potential in the girl child and with the right mentorship, resources and efforts, girls can do so much more than the world ever expects in the area of technology which is mostly dominated by the male gender. I am someone who believes in the dreams, talents and potential of the female child in the area of technology. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainability in Design
The project "Ladies who Tech" was an intiative of myself after making an observation that the tech space was mostly occupied and filled by the male gender.
The project focused more on SDG 5, gender equality.
I carried out technology events and webiners to educate maily the female gender on specific area of design, UI/UX design, graphic and brand design. It will help in creating innovative and creative people in the society hence improve the tech industry, which is inline with SDG 9
About the Millennium Fellow
Onyedikachukwu Chigozie is a bright young and globally competitive Economics student in his 300level at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is born in Enugu state, Nigeria, raised and resides in the same state. Onyedikachukwu is really passionate about impacting his immediate environment and the globe generally by teaching and equipping female young individuals with basic teach skills to impact and solve problems in the society globally. Through the skills he has acquired in the past he hence wants to invest in the society with those skills to lead to a better and developed country.
