Millennium Fellowship Project: Nigerian Feminism; A Paradigm Shift

Feminism and gender equality has evoked a lot of debate between close knitted groups to large ones like on social media. This debated is largely due to the misconception on the part of certain individuals and myth surrounding the idea. Aside the rebuke feminist face in Nigeria, the idea has fallen prey to what is tagged 'Nigerian Feminism' here, there is a blur between what I call true feminist and other concepts eg. Misogyny. The need for sensitization can not be over emphasized hence this project. Where they will be a paradigm shift from the Nigerian version of feminism to what it entails to struggle for equality in all ramification. The aim to attack the grass root, meet youths who are yet to properly form an opinion and are yet to be influenced by the charade.
Efforts are already being made by several societies to push the agenda, however youths can still be tainted by this bad blood. It will be safe to create a program or platform where the gospel of 'true feminism' can be taught.
