Millennium Fellowship Project: Diabetes Watch
Diabetes Watch is all about creating awareness on diabetes, using community, worship centres and school based approaches To give health education on how to manage diabetes and also promote physical activity amongst people living with diabetes. And also promoting early diagnosis toborevent diabetes complications.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adekola Adesiyun is a final year pharmacy student of University of Jos, Plateau state Nigeria. He is a native of Offa, kwara state Nigeria. He has a strong passion for Diabetes awareness creation, Diabetes Education and care for people living with diabetes
Several diabetes fora has been organized and diabetes education heralded during his pharmacy training till date. He has reached out to several communities and school within and out side Plateau state to ensure diabetes education is heralded.
Adekola Adesiyun aspires to do more in this aspect and contribute his own quota and seeing to the achievement of the United Nations Development goals
