Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will offer me the opportunity to connect with people of like minds in other to achieve my goal on a larger scale. The Fellowship will also offer my the right templates to execute the SDG goals "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Education for the Locals
The project "education for the Locals" involves visiting schools in local communities (rural areas) where they lack adequate teachers, to help in teaching pupils. We also engage in one on one discussions with parents of school aged children, who because of religion or other cultural practices refuse their kids from schooling, on the need and importance of having an educated community
About the Millennium Fellow
Faasema Shagbaor Simeon is a law enthusiast and a lover of education, he currently is a law student from the Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria. He was born and has lived his entire life in Nigeria giving him the advantage of understanding the problems bedeviling the nation and the world at large. His love for education has over the years encouraged him to contribute his little quota to the development and improvement of education at the grassroot as he visit schools that are under staffed to help out. Simeon hopes to partner with others so as to improve the quality of education on a larger scale.
