" For me, becoming a Millennium Campus Fellow is an amazing opportunity because I now have the opportunity to connect with other young people leading change in various communities and are passionate about solving problems in their society.

I know hosting a public health intervention project in Nigeria comes with its own challenges and benefits, but then, I'm optimistic that this project will make a lasting impact.

I look forward to learning and connecting with other bright minds onboard.

I'm delighted already! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Jos Zero Hepatitis

Jos Zero Hepatitis is a Hepatitis Advocacy and intervention program for a low-income community in Jos North, Plateau State, Nigeria.

It entailed:

1. A community outreach which reached out to 50+ community members. These people were educated on Hepatitis and given a free Hepatitis B test(to help know their status) and those who tested negative were vaccinated.
2. A secondary school advocacy outreach. 100+ secondary school students were educated on what Hepatitis is, its causes, prevention and treatment.
