United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

About the Millennium Fellow

Niret Emmanuel Habakkuk is an intelligent, young , vibrant law student studying in the University of Jos, Nigeria. She was born and brought up in Plateau state her State of origin. Growing up Niret always pondered on the reason behind gender inequality and disparity in rights, she would do all in her powered to stand against inequality in all forms. She has joined groups to cater for the welfare of those underappreciated and overlooked by society. Hence her burning interest in law , fundamental human rights especially. She has been fighting along side others and is not slowing down, believing to do so much more in the future.
