Millennium Fellowship Project: Health and Justice Initiative
Health and Justice Initiative is a project that is channeled towards furthering the health living of women and most especially working towards reducing the maternal mortality rate in my community. It is also channel towards educating my community on their health rights and fight to reduce if not eradicate medical negligence.
About the Millennium Fellow
Kunda David Bitrus is a bright, intelligent, pro-active law student at the University of Jos campus located in Nigeria, West Africa. He was born in Sanga, local government of Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is an indigene of Nasarawa State from the Wamba local government area. He is currently residing in Jos, where he is pursuing his undergraduate studies; he is a true patriot of global peace and a healthy world. For as long as he could remember, David has always been passionate about his advocacy for social justice, medical negligence, and causes of the high rate of maternal mortality rate and preferring possible solutions. This passion and drive translated itself from David’s experiences in the local community and his dedication towards achieving a social cause. Throughout his diploma course in Education and currently in his undergraduate years, he has successfully organized projects and academic programs, which through his outstanding leadership performance and skills, he plans not only to continue but to passionately follow the cause of social justice in the future. David is already on the pathway of being an advocate, which is a big stepping stone to achieving his goals in the future and providing his own contribution to the development of the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals.
