" Meeting and collaborating with others who have similar passion via the Millennium Fellowship , fuels my desire. And reviewing the work of past Millennium Fellows who have done much more than I could ever imagine, motivates me and broadens my horizon to the various opportunities that my team and I would have to make all the impact we can; as I now believe that there is nothing I want to do that can not be done. "

About the Millennium Fellow

Patience Onimisi is a young lady full of truth and joy and love. She is a smart and vibrant accounting student at her third year in the prestigious University of Jos, Nigeria. She was born and brought up in the northern part of Nigeria, and got to realize that majority of children are unable to access quality education and a healthy lifestyle due to a number of factors; some controllable and others sadly uncontrollable.
From the moment she realized this, it left a burning sensation in her heart, and all she wanted to do everyday, no matter what was (and still is) to make all the difference she can, and in everyway she can.
She dreams and yearns for a society, a world where children are given and have access to quality education and healthy living because she believes that 'investment in education always yield high returns' and that health, is indeed wealth'!
