United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental health matters & Speak Life Give Life

The project is centered on SDG 3 (health and wellbeing) particularly on mental health. The project is focused on
- Creating awareness on mental health issues
- Helping people with mental health issues and at greater risk
- Exploring mental health related societal menaces
- breaking the stigma on mental health issues so that people affected can get proper help.
This is done via, articles (The mental health series), awareness visits to secondary schools, webinars and radio talk shows.

About the Millennium Fellow

Amao Rereward Dawn is an intelligible, compassionate, creative and very competitive medical student at the University of Jos, Jos. She was born in Jos where she also resides. For as long as she can remember, she has had compassion for the sick and less privileged. This drive has become Dawn's motivation to aid the hurting and poor. While in high school she provided words of encouragement and hope to those in need. Providing aid to students around her. Through these medium Dawn wishes to reach out to the global community and help in her little way. Dawn also wishes to be a medical doctor where she can contribute to the United Nations'Sustainable Goals
