" Mental health is an integral component of health and well-being that underpins our individual and collective abilities to make decisions, build relationships and shape the world we live in.Reshaping the determinants of mental health often requires action beyond the health sector and so promotion and prevention programmes should involve the education, labour, justice etc. Millennium Fellowship provides a wide range of dedicated ,problem solving, innovative minds which would make collaborations easy and solution creation possible to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3. I believe in a better world and together, we'll achieve this. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: You Matter Initiative

About the Millennium Fellow
Faith Onyekachi is an enthusiastic, bright and passionate student of the mental health issues as it relates to teenagers and youths.
She is a student of Microbiology in her penultimate year at the University of Lagos.
Due to the challenges she faced in the early days of her stay in higher institution and other spheres, she has taken it as a point of duty to dedicate her time to the mental wellness of teenagers and youth.
She sees a world where teenagers and youth can develop mental stability and face problems head on with the mindset of taking advantage of opportunities to become the best version of themselves.
As a means of giving back to the community and working towards achieving The Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well being, she has served as a volunteer in Abraham's Children Foundation. Also in fulfilment to SDG4 , she trains student as a tutor.
Faith is glad to work with the Millennium Campus Network, a strong platform for impacting lives, and she is totally excited that the dream of reducing depression is becoming a reality.
