United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

mentorship opportunities, the Fellowship will bring me into the community of global change makers who are already impacting their community right from where they are. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pad A Girl Project

Pad a Girl Initiative (PAGI) is a project that is targeted to solving one of the sustainable development goals (SDG 3); good health and well being. This outreach is seeking to create menstrual hygiene and mental health awareness in adolescence, teach how to make reusable sanitary pads and also provide sanitary pads to the girls.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mary Nkechinyere Adedayo is a charming, young and intelligent psychology student at the University of Lagos. She was in Lagos Nigeria and she resides here too. For the longest time, Mary has always been passionate about helping young people understand the essence of living a purposeful life and walking them through the journey of purpose discovery. This passion has lead her to serve and contribute and gain experience in various social impact activities. Over the years, she has successfully co-organized various socal impact project and served in leadership position which she wishes to continue in the future.
Mary aspires to be a professional and global field where helpful skills can be cultivate to helping in contributing her own quota to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
