United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Ilera Mobile Clinic

Project Ilera mobile clinic is an alternative health measure which uses community mobilization approach and uber centre model to provide quality and affordable health services for the poor of the poorest. The project would work on preventive measures, diagnosis of minor illnesses and sensitization programmes towards advancing the health and well-being of members of the community.

Objectives
1. To engage 5 health stakeholders in Matogun Olambe Community
2. To organize a community health-based sensitization program for 200 community members once every month for 6 months in Matogun Olambe community, Ogun State Nigeria
3. To raise 20 health champions in 4 schools in Olambe Matogun Community on basic health services and education
4. To gain input from community members and create a mobile clinic that serves at least 50 community members every week and standby for emergency cases.

About the Millennium Fellow

Olatunji Olasunkanmi is a 100-level law student at the University of Lagos. He is born and currently resides in Ogun state, Nigeria. Right from his high school days, he has been passionate about having a society where standard education and equal access to health care facilities are available to all. As well as a society where everyone has equal access to opportunities regardless of gender. This passion of his made him a volunteer member of Kayode Alabi Leadership and Career Initiative(KLCI). KLCI is an NGO committed to making good education available majorly to underserved areas. Also, requesting to join the MCN is a step towards gaining knowledge required to realise this passion and a quota of my contribution to mankind.
