Millennium Fellowship Project: Save My Soul
As the name implies (‘Save my Mental Health ‘), this is a project, based on SDG 3, geared towards helpingstudents with deteriorating mental health to reach the optimal level of health.With the stigma and absurd inattention surrounding mental health today, Nigerian students have suffered the brunt (and are still suffering) of the social and psychological consequences of this -e.g. with social withdrawal, insanity, suicide, etc, being the most severe consequences.As a result of a poor mental health awareness and education in Nigeria universities and campuses, the rates of declining mental health have unduly increased and keeps increasing by the day(with some students already on the verge of committing suicide).
About the Millennium Fellow
Saheed Qudus is a law student & budding human Rights and constitutional lawyer, at the University of Lagos.
Presently, he resides in & schools in Lagos, but he is never deterred from exploring globally because he is a global student/explorer! And to confirm that he's such, he has worked and currently works with people from all over the world: be it as a legal intern, researcher, advocate and content creator!
His interests include (but are not limited to): Human Rights advocacy (rights of Muslims especially), Intellectual property law, space law & policy, positive change advocate,
research writing, contentt/ghost writing, as well as localcommunity & global volunteering.
