Millennium Fellowship Project: Disrupting Antimicrobial Resistance Project

The Disrupting Antimicrobial Resistance project is an antimicrobial resistance awareness and education project. It centers on SDG 3 which is Good Health and Wellbeing. We organized an online webinar, we also had physical awareness campaigns where we went to a secondary school and a church to educate people on the dangers of AMR.

About the Millennium Fellow

Halimah Alao is a very vibrant and optimistic young student of university of Ilorin, Nigeria. She understands the need for sustainability of the society through developmental goals established by the United Nations. She has keen interest in the social and personal rights of individuals and through her project can give impactful development to the society around her. Halimah hopes to broaden her horizon around her profession whilst achieving prosperity for the planet
