Millennium Fellowship Project: Earth Climate Justice
This project seeks to create awareness on the detrimental effects on climate change. While seeking partnership through dialogue and good networks, the project will work with schools, local communities and utilise social media to advocate for the actualization of SDG 13.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bala Mairiga Abduljalil, is a fourth year undergraduate student of Computer Engineering, University Of Maiduguri. Nigeria and Enthusiastic Data Scientist, Well-trained at developing database access system, Seeking to leverage profound mastering in using data analytical tools to enhance management decision and design for profitability.As a 23 years old conflict and resolution advocacy, he has an impressive track record of leadership achievements. For example, during his fellowship year with Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) and iLead program from LEAP Africa. His leadership journey started 7 years ago when every time he look around, he see young people who need to be motivated in doing the right thing for the sake of growth and development, he see young people who if not mentored properly will be a huge liability to the community,he see a community that needs innovative and productive young people, he see a land that relies heavily on young people for it's growth and development. Bala is also someone who sets appropriate boundaries while building relationships with people and those I am working with. He is highly organized, tolerant and will show the correct level of empathy when the situation requires it.
