United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Being goal oriented, I always get excited and overwhelmed with abundant satisfaction serving humanity in changing the narrative. I always love to partake in the development of communities where young and vibrant youths are, to build the bright and promising future. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will enhance my skills. The skills gotten from Millennium Fellowship will aid and broaden my social actions in making noiseless impact to communities and to also intentionally achieve the SDGs. I am also amazed to acquire new ways and strategies of learning, creativity and implementation. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Earth Climate Justice

This project seeks to create awareness on the detrimental effects on climate change. While seeking partnership through dialogue and good networks, the project will work with schools, local communities and utilise social media to advocate for the actualization of SDG 13.

About the Millennium Fellow

Elijah Simon Ndirmbita is a passionate, enthusiastic, and humanitarian activist. He was born in North-eastern Nigeria, resides in Maiduguri, Borno state, and is currently studying Medical Laboratory Science, at the prestigious University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. For as long as he could remember, Elijah has always been passionate about his advocacies for good health and wellbeing for marginalized communities and family reunification of internally displaced persons (IDPs). This drive and ardour translated itself from Elijah's experiences with International, National and Local Non-governmental Organizations and his continuous dedication to humanitarian and social action. Elijah has successfully organized various philanthropic projects and advocacy campaigns; which through his outstanding leadership, he plans to continue in the future. Elijah aspires to be in a professional field where he can cultivate these advocacies further and provide his own contribution to the development of the United Nation's sustainable goals.
