Millennium Fellowship Project: Books with Fatimazahra
This project is aimed at teaching primary students (in public schools mainly and private schools) and children not privileged to go to school how to read and write. I started this because of the percentage of children that are in school and can't read and to curb ignorance because we know what that cost us in Maiduguri .
About the Millennium Fellow
Fatimazahra Yusuf Wasili is a bright young medical student at university of Maiduguri studying medicine and surgery. She was born in Nigeria and resides there. For as long as she could remember, Fatimazahra has always been passionate about her advocacies for quality education for all. This drive and ardor translated itself from Fatimazahra’s love for reading books and her love to see others enjoy the same. Throughout her childhood and high school up to her college days now, she has organized programs both official and not so official to see kids read and cultivate a good reading habit. She aspires to contribute to the education of children and also to the development of the United Nation’s sustainable goals.
