Millennium Fellowship Project: Earth Climate Justice
This project seeks to create awareness on the detrimental effects on climate change. While seeking partnership through dialogue and good networks, the project will work with schools, local communities and utilise social media to advocate for the actualization of SDG 13.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rifkatu Lalai is a young vibrant student of Agriculture at University of Maiduguri,she was born in maiduguri, Nigeria and is currently studying in University of Maiduguri and studying information technology in National Open University Nigeria Borno State chapter.Rifkatu is an outreach volunteer and activist who advocate for Gender Equality, Girl child education,peace and inclusion of youth especially girls and women in decision and policy making. Rifkatu is always passionate about the impacts she is making in her community through raising issues affecting young people, girls and women and tackling the issues.
Rifkatu aspire to be professional in the fields she is advocating where she can make more impacts in people lives and contribute in the development of United Nations sustainable development
