" Volunteering is the best gift you can offer to the society
Being a Millennium Fellow will prime up in that direction. The project too at the end of the training is a form of volunteering. It gives me a sense of responsibility that I will be giving back to the society. Pitching on my project topic which is about drug abuse, I hope to use the skills gathered from this training to create awareness amongst the teens "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Drug and My Health; a Wise Decision?
My project was in line with SDG3 which is good health and wellbeing.I picked an indicator which involved education against drug abuse, its causes, effects and prevention. A slide presentation was made to introduce the concept of drug abuse. A video presentation was also shown to expose students to real life effects of drug abuse on those who indulge in it. Then time for interaction was included. A questionnaire was used to collect data from the students to find out their knowledge about drug abuse.
