" Compassion and understanding fuel my drive to reach out to the larger less privileged community. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will provide avenues to properly channel the drive collaboratively. The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will further enhance my medical and social impact on less privileged society and bring massive changes. I am truly excited to increase my competence. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Good Health/Healthy Lifestyle
The project was aimed at promoting SDG 3 ( The sustainable development goal 3). The project was born out of the need to intervene with the increased morbidity and mortality caused by an unidentified or neglected health problem. The project was aimed to enlighten people about the leading causes of death and disability in this part of the world, how to prevent them ( Featuring lifestyle modification), how to effectively manage them, how to avoid complications and how to live an efficient life while living with them.
The second part is aimed at enlightening adolescents about substance abuse and depression.
