Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Good Health/Healthy Lifestyle

The project was aimed at promoting SDG 3 ( The sustainable development goal 3). The project was born out of the need to intervene with the increased morbidity and mortality caused by an unidentified or neglected health problem. The project was aimed to enlighten people about the leading causes of death and disability in this part of the world, how to prevent them ( Featuring lifestyle modification), how to effectively manage them, how to avoid complications and how to live an efficient life while living with them.
The second part is aimed at enlightening adolescents about substance abuse and depression.

About the Millennium Fellow

Christian Nnaemeka Nwankwo is a young and talented medical student in the University of Port Harcourt. He was born in Aba, Abia State and currently resides in same place.

Apart from being a medical student, he can play the table tennis and volleyball. He also enjoys classical music and can play the Piano. He recently developed interest in data analystics with emphasis on health analysis which he thinks is very crucial in the field of public health, the specialty he intends to specialise on.

Christian is very passionate about making impact in his immediate environment through effective leadership. He is a good team player and strives to make positive impact wherever he finds himself. Christian loves volunteering and has been an active participant in various volunteer programs organized by different NGOs and association of medical students in the campus.

Christian is very passionate about public health, a specialty which he believes has been treated with contempt in Nigeria. His enrollment in this Fellowship will serve as his starting point in actualising his dream and will aid grow his network, learn among peers with same vision and explore means to contribute positively to the attainment of the various Sustainable development goals.
