Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Good Health/Healthy Lifestyle
The project was aimed at promoting SDG 3 ( The sustainable development goal 3). The project was born out of the need to intervene with the increased morbidity and mortality caused by an unidentified or neglected health problem. The project was aimed to enlighten people about the leading causes of death and disability in this part of the world, how to prevent them ( Featuring lifestyle modification), how to effectively manage them, how to avoid complications and how to live an efficient life while living with them.
The second part is aimed at enlightening adolescents about substance abuse and depression.
About the Millennium Fellow
Obodo Fejiro is a 5th year medical student at the university of Portharcourt, Nigeria. She is dedicated, focused and works assiduously to achieving her goals.
She is passionate about health and wellness, Leadership and self development. This has motivated her to take volunteering opportunities in organizations that cater for the health needs of people. She sees this as an opportunity to make impact by giving back to the society and networking with other change agent while honing her leadership skills.
To increase the scope of her social impact, she hopes to become a global citizen.
