Millennium Fellowship Project: The Speak Up Project
It is a project that is geared towards helping put an end to the stigmatization of mentally ill people in my community by providing them the help they need and bringing public awareness about their issues.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ndukwu Chibundom is a 3rd year law student, creative writer and aspiring philanthropist. She was born in Nigeria and studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Of recent, she has become interested in the drive towards putting an end to the stigmatization of mentally ill people and has decided to make a move towards bringing about mental health awareness in her community. As a lawyer and writer, she hopes to promote the rights of all people, especially mentally ill people.
