Millennium Fellowship Project: Health is Wealth: Oral Hygiene And Antibiotics Abuse/Misuse
Health is wealth is a group project led by four Millennium Fellows; Nwude MaryCynthia Obianuju, Ogonedu Godsgift Chidiebele, Ekwunife Rita, and Megbolu Emmanuel. It addresses the issues of oral hygiene and antibiotics abuse/misuse through physical outreaches. The project aims to engage with members of Agulu community(both students and Elders in churches) and eventually the greater part of Anambra State, to sensitive them on the importance of oral hygiene and also foster deeper understanding on the use of antibiotics and the dangers of their abuse/misuse. During the Millennium Fellowship period(August-December 2022), Health is Wealth will host a minimum of three physical outreaches where two secondary schools and one church will be visited. The outreaches will feature sensitization, discussions, question and answer sessions and distribution of toothbrushes as a way of encouraging the students' oral hygiene practice. We aim to reach about 300 people combined across the outreaches.

Emmanuel Megbolu is a young,brilliant and passionate young man who has always found immense passion in public health.Due to this passion,he has done many works which includes participating in different health mission organized under pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria students,unizik branch.He is from Nigeria and a student pharmacist from the great institution of Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka Nigeria.He Currently lives in lagos.one of his aspiration in life is sensitizing men and women on how to live a more healthy life which will help prolong their life span and also educating youths on the dangers of substance abuse.
