" The Millennium Fellowship seems to me like a place where I can come, my ideas naked and unrefined and leave stronger, having the support of a team I can call on and most importantly, having a clear cut vision on how I can join hands to change the world! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Back To School, Rescuing Nigeria's Educational System
Back to school is a project targeted at Nigerian secondary school students. The aim of the project is to encourage a positive education seeking behavior among young adults and also to financially support that process in terms of providing textbooks and exercise books for the students.
About the Millennium Fellow
Goodness Chidimma Joseph is a young woman in her early 20's. She has her ancestry in eastern Nigeria but was born in the northern parts of the country.
She is very passionate about
quality education and this has driven her all through primary and secondary school. Maybe this is because her mom is a teacher but her dream is to one day become the minister of Education in her country and create some sustainable development and change.
She is currently in her 4th year in medical school and serves as her faculty's director of Academics. In her spare time, she looses herself in the world of fantasy novels. Other times she can be found joining an outreach, organizing a tutorial or sleeping.
