Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Sustainable Fishing In Luapula River

The project involves advocating for sustainable use fishing in the Luapula river and it's tributaries more especially Luche and boni tributaries.

About the Millennium Fellow

Chibunse Noah is a bornfide student of the university of Zambia, studying Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with Geography. He was born in Zambia and currently resides in Lusaka capital city of Zambia. Chibunse had always been passionate about his advocate for environment management, climate change, sustainable utilization of natural resource (specifically trees and fish) and many human activities that harm the environment and it's inhabitants. Through out his junior and senior secondary school period, Chibunse had been involved into projects ran by the school and other organizations on climate change and waste management. Chibunse also had conducted a research on effects of mining on the community and the environment while still at the university. In addition, through university association that concerned with environmental management, chibunse had an opportunity to learn more about the issue do with climate change waste management with the campus. Nevertheless, Chibunse aspires to continue sensetizing the community on the significant of our environment and our natural resource and and contribute to the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
